Fresh lamps usually refer to lighting facilities that beautify the appearance of fresh foods such as meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. by adding specific light source colors. Simply put, it refers to the special lighting fixtures hanging above meat, fruits and vegetables, which can make the ingredients look fresher than they actually are, confusing many consumers.
In recent years, using "fresh lamps" to "beautify" edible agricultural products on sale has gradually become a common marketing method in agricultural trade, supermarkets, fresh food stores, and other places. The use of "fresh lamps" may not affect food quality and safety by emitting heat, but they can conceal defects, beautify the appearance and color of food, and affect consumers' ability to distinguish when making purchases with a "false and attractive" appearance, which to some extent infringes on consumer rights, is not conducive to fair competition in the market, and affects the healthy development of the consumer market.
What kind of lighting facilities meet the requirements after disabling "fresh lamps"? The "Architectural Lighting Design Standards" stipulate the lighting standard values for various types of public buildings such as shops, supermarkets, and agricultural markets (specific indicators include illuminance standard values, uniform glare values, general lighting illuminance uniformity, and color rendering index), which can be used as a reference for setting lighting fixtures in edible agricultural product business places such as supermarkets, supermarkets, centralized trading markets, and fresh food stores.
